Chris is obsessive about details. When he couldn’t find a pizza oven that performed to his liking, he designed his own–the same ones found in all of our restaurants today. Chris is a true innovator and the driving force behind the success of Crushed Red. When not at one of the Crushed Red locations, Chris enjoys trying out and discovering new restaurant concepts. We're not kidding, that's actually his hobby!
While you may not know his name, you’re probably already familiar with Mike Marino’s body of work. As the former national bakery director of Panera bread, Mike developed many of the recipes there that you’ve been enjoying for years. When we say artisan, we’re definitely talking about Mike. He’s the secret weapon behind making our whole grain pizzas taste so delicious. In his spare time he likes to mix things up by making the granola bites we feature at both locations.
